Describe the residual data set:
Step 1
In order to create a table that represents this residual data, click anywhere in ClassPad to bring up the ClassPad menu, and click on the Statistical Data icon.

Step 2
Enter the data set into the table.

Step 3
To see the scatter plot, select the data in the table, click Graph in the pop-up menu and then select Scatterplot.

Step 4
Verify the graph of the residuals.

Step 5
Add the rest of the points in the table.

Step 6
To see the enlarged scatter plot, select the data in the table, click Graph in the pop-up menu and then select Scatterplot. What patterns can you identify in the following residual plots that might indicate that the regression line is not a good model for the data? Based on the residual plot, are there any points that may be considered outliers?
