Step 1

In order to create a table that represents this data, click anywhere in ClassPad to bring up the ClassPad menu, and click on the Statistical Data icon.

Step 2

Enter the data, changing the range to 0–11 (from the bottom to the top.)

Step 3

To see the calculations for the mean, correlation coefficient, and more, select the data in the table and click Calculation, then Two-Variable in the popup menu. 

Step 4

Change : and : dropdown boxes to reflect the columns where the data was entered.

Step 5

To see the scatter plot, select the data in the table, click Graph in the pop-up menu and then select Scatterplot. 

Step 6

Again, change : and : dropdown boxes to reflect the columns where the data was entered.

Step 7

To see the linear regression graph, select the data in the table and click Regression in the pop-up menu. Then select Linear Regression.

Step 8

A linear regression line should appear on the graph.
