Research a historical or contemporary event or figure. Write a historical narrative depicting the story of your selected event or figure.

In developing your historical narrative, be sure to do the following:

  • Organize and sequence the events in a way that is both clear and dramatic.

  • Emulate a writer of historical narratives in your approach to telling the story.

  • Use vivid sensory language or images to present narrative details, characters, and events.
